These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PlayoffProof (the "Service"), a fantasy basketball analytics tool operated by PlayoffProof ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
PlayoffProof provides informational analytics, projections, and rankings to help fantasy basketball managers make roster decisions, with an emphasis on the fantasy playoff period. All output is opinion and estimation for entertainment and informational purposes. We do not guarantee any outcome, and nothing on the Service is a promise of fantasy results, real-world sports results, or financial gain.
PlayoffProof is an independent product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Basketball Association, the NBPA, any NBA team, or any fantasy platform including Sleeper, Yahoo, ESPN, or CBS. All team names, player names, and platform names are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.
Some features work only after you connect a fantasy league you own or participate in, by entering a public username, pasting your roster, or authorizing a platform connection. You represent that you have the right to provide this data. We access only what you connect, and we do not scrape or bulk-collect data from any platform on your behalf.
The Service relies on third-party data (schedules, injury reports, statistics, standings) that may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. Projections are estimates. We work to keep data current but do not warrant its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness, and you use it at your own discretion.
Paid access, when offered, is billed through our payment processor (Stripe). Prices, billing period, and what is included are shown at the point of purchase. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. During any open-access or free period, features may be provided at no charge and may change or end at any time.
We may add, change, or remove features, and we may modify these Terms. If we make material changes we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlayoffProof will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of fantasy standing, profits, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or twenty-five US dollars.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Washington.
