This Privacy Policy explains what PlayoffProof ("we," "us," "our") collects, why, and your choices. We keep data collection minimal and we do not sell your personal information.
What we collect
Account email. If you create an account, we store your email address to sign you in and contact you about the Service.
League data you connect. When you connect a fantasy league, we process the roster and league information you provide, whether by public username, pasted roster, or an authorized platform connection. This is used to personalize your board (your team, available players, recommendations).
Payment information. If you pay, our processor (Stripe) collects and handles your card details. We never see or store full card numbers; we receive only a confirmation and limited billing metadata.
Basic usage data. Standard server and browser information (such as pages requested and approximate region) that is inherent to operating a website.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
We do not scrape or bulk-collect data from fantasy platforms on your behalf; we access only the league data you explicitly connect.
We do not use your league data to train models sold to third parties.
Service providers we use
We share limited data with vendors that operate the Service on our behalf, under their own terms and security controls:
Supabase — account authentication and database.
Stripe — payment processing.
GitHub Pages / Cloudflare — website hosting and delivery.
Fantasy platforms (Sleeper, Yahoo, ESPN, CBS) — only when you choose to connect one, to read your league.
Sports data providers — for schedules, statistics, injuries, and standings. These provide league-wide data, not your personal data.
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's local storage to remember your connected league and preferences on your device, and, if you have an account, a session token to keep you signed in. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Data retention
We keep account and league data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing us; we will delete it within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records for legal or accounting reasons.
Your choices
Disconnect a league at any time from within the app; that clears it from your device.
Request access to or deletion of your data by emailing us.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; contact us to exercise them.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy; we will change the effective date above when we do.
